About

Why Reina Movement?

As we get wrapped up in our day-to-day lives, it can become easy to forget who we are at our core. Demands of our daily lives require us to move quickly, leaving no time to nurture the inner self which can sometimes lead to a self-fulfilling loop of stress, disconnection, confusion, and discontent. Reina Movement is a space where you are encouraged to slow the constant motion through mindfulness, body awareness, and movement in order to find, remember and explore your inner nobility.

Why Reina?

When people see my last name, the conversation usually goes something like, “You know that means ‘queen’ right?” and I’m always like…. “Yup!”

Having this last name helped me embody a sense of pride and instilled a desire to live up to the associations that come along with a word like “queen”. As I have moved through life and gained new experiences and perspectives, Reina has come to mean stepping fully into who I am and striving to live a life that feels the most authentic to me. Additionally, this name honors my family heritage and pays homage to my late father, who helped teach me what it means to be a Reina.

I hope to use the lessons and perspectives I have learned thus far to help you uncover your inner “Reina” and live the life that feels most authentic to you!

Why Movement?

As a dancer and someone who generally enjoys movement (working out, longboarding, hiking etc.) I have always noticed that I feel the most like myself when I get out of my head and into my body. Having movement as an outlet has allowed me to process some hard moments in my life and helped me return to my most authentic self.

After completing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and learning about the benefits of somatic (mind-body connection) interventions, I am even more convinced that movement is the key to helping people unlock their fullest and most authentic selves. When we can be fully embodied, we can acknowledge all that is present within– the good, the bad, the histories and the patterns we carry.

Are you ready?

Hello! My name is Natalie Reina and I am so excited that you are here. I specialize in helping people feel safe to slow down from their everyday lives and really get comfortable in their bodies. I have over 20 years of dance experience and hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. As someone who has definitely struggled to slow down, trust myself, and feel confident, I have a sense of what you might be experiencing. During our time together, I want to work collaboratively with you using movement, mindfulness, and embodiment, to help you find your way back to your soul home. I love to incorporate a combination of somatics, music, Buddhist philosophy, and a few other tools, in order to bring awareness to your needs and emotions in a non-judgemental, positive and supportive approach.

I’d love to hear more about you, what you are looking for and any questions/ fears you may have. Please feel free to reach out below and I will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also follow our social media pages for more information about current programs and offerings. I look forward to hearing from you!
